Experiences
The coastal path that leads you further beyond Østerøya is only a short walk away from Strand. It takes you all the way to Tønsberg Tønne in the far south of the island. The area has fantastic seaview, and is a protected nature reserve with rare trees and plants.
Mefjorden between Østerøya and Vesterøya is perfect for beach trips by canoe or boat.
About 10 minutes walk from Strand you will find the nice beach Skjellvika.
