A group of enthusiasts bought the ship for Tønsberg's 11th anniversary in 1971. DS Kysten has become an important symbol of Tønsberg's maritime history.
The boat is certified for 99 passengers.

You are encouraged to order what you want to eat on board at the same time as you order the tickets. You will then be guaranteed to get what you want. Kiosk goodws, cofee, ice cream, mineral water, beer and wine are sold on board.
NB! Pre-ordering of food must be completed before 20:00 the day before sailing.
