Verdens Ende Camping

Verdens Ende camping, "the World’s End Camping", is an old and traditional camping, with a short distance to "the World’s End" Guest Harbor and swimming spots in Tjøme.

The camping has 50 fixed places for permanent visitors, many have lived here for years.

Further it has 15 cabins, all different sizes. The small cabin 9 m2, with two beds and short distance to the sanitary installation. The big cabins is 42 m2, with 2 bedrooms with 6 beds and bathroom. In addition, it is a cabin that is 120 m2 with a very high standard, and 10 beds. All cabins and camping spots can be booked at Verdens Ende Camping.

At Verdens Ende Camping there are 15-20 motorhome parking spaces,and plenty of space for caravans and tents for a short stay.

Verdens Ende Cafe (pub and kiosk) is open during the summer season. Homemade food and drinks are offered at good prices.The cafe offers the possibility to arrange an event for 40 people.

x Visitor Center Færder National Park, on the southern tip of Tjøme

x Torås Fort contains a museum for visitors interested in war history

x Færder National Park both on shore and in water.

x Tjøme golf club (2×9 holes), 3 km away

x Nøtterø golf club (18 holes), 15 km away

x Swimming spots within walking distance Grepan, Verdens Ende (the World's End), Mostranda and by Havna Hotel.

Solplassen Camping

The area has together 46 cabins and bungalows for 2 – 8 people. 22 of the cabins are all year round rentals.

The Camping has a grocery store and a cafe & summer restaurant with outdoor seating. The summer restaurant serves typical food such as pizza, street food and offers take away. The restaurant is open for everyone. The Camping has its own beach with a floating dock, and only a 5 minute walk from Rakke with smooth rocks.

Solplassen has 2 sanitary installations, each with their own washing machines and tumble dryers.

The area
Stavern city centre is not far from the camping area. Stavern is a summer city with visitors from all over the country. Stavern offers exhibitions throughout the summer.

Solplassen is surrounded by beautiful nature, with a coastal path is nearby. The coastal path goes from Stavern to Helgeroa with a distance of 35 km through nature, beach and smooth rocks. In brunlanes you will find incredible Mølen, which is a part of UNESCO’s global geopark.

Fishing
Larvik has a coastline covering 123 km with good fishings spots. Fish from shore or off a boat the choice is yours. Larvik also has one of Norways best salmon rivers, Numedalslågen.

The archipelago of Rakke is a Eldorado for divers, both professionals and amateurs. There is alot to see, such as 80 shipwrecks.
