To stay at Midtåsen, you have to rent out the whole house, which will give you access to all 5 double rooms and 2 single rooms.
Breakfast will be served at the time and place you like.
You have to choose one of the menus for dinner, and the management will take you to the wine cellar to choose wine from some of the 1.500 bottles that is there.
The lounge can be used freely before and after dinner, for drinks or aperitifs, and after dinner you can enjoy your coffee in one of the rooms or down in the famous bodega (the wine cellar).
You can freely choose which bedroom you want to spend the night in. Some rooms are kept exactly the same as in the 1930s to 1950s. All rooms have their own bathroom and dressing room, and you can choose between these different rooms: Anders Jahre’s room, Bess Jahre’s room, The green guest room, The royal suite, The maid’s room (S) , The Butler’s Room (S) or the Onassis Suite itself.
The price is NOK 20.000 for accommodation with breakfast included (total for 1 or all rooms). In addition, you must order food and beverages on site (it is unfortunately not possible to bring your own drinks).

The new hotel wing, Karl Johan, has 39 rooms. If you want a unique room in historic surroundings, the main building stores 8 rooms, both double and suites.
Meetings and conferences
The new hotel wing also has a big conference department with 5 new top modern conference rooms with AV-equipment adapted todays needs. Capacity from 2 until 200 persons.
The Restaurant
With ingredients of the season delivered by local suppliers and producers, the chef composes delicious meals inspired by the Norwegian, French and Italian kitchen. All food we serve is produced in their own kitchen. Welcome to a unique dining experience!

Thon Hotel Horten
Thon Hotel Horten consist of 88 rooms with 176 beds, all of the 88 rooms and most public areas have recently been renovated and upgraded. The hotel offers single rooms, double rooms and business rooms. A bar and à la carte restaurant with outdoor seating during the summer. There is also a lounge on the first floor with view of Oslofjord.

The hotel was renovated and upgraded in 2016, the rooms, the restaurant, the bar, lobby and meeting rooms was upgraded. The big room Fjordsalen can be divided into two rooms if needed. New equipment for videos, sound and microphones. The hotel has two big and spacious conference rooms and two group rooms on the first floor.

GREAT APARTMENTS
The hotel is located by the sea in Røssesundet, with its own jetty and guest harbour. There are buses to the the island from the center of Tønsberg. Havna Tjøme Hotel offers electric car chargers and a large outdoor car park for those arriving by car.
The apartments are located close to the sea, with their own entrance, and a variety of sizes, bathrooms and bedrooms that give you the opportunity to choose the apartment that suits you best. The apartments are equipped with kitchen facilities, dining and sofa groups, as well as a lovely, private patio.
RENOVATION
Havna Tjøme Hotel got the Norlandia Hotel Group as new owners during the summer of 2024, and is currently renovating the hotel. The main building will have a new reception, restaurant, wellness department, hotel rooms and public area, which will be completed during 2025. The main hotel building will therefore be closed during your stay, and no facilities, breakfast or laundry services will be available.
