Outdoor climbing in Vestfold

Along the coast from Helgeroa to Tønsberg, there are a lot of great climbing areas for those who like vertical sports. Currently there are around 50 climbing fields / crags and a total of over 2000 routes to choose from. Rope climbing, sports routes, DWS and high-quality bouldering. 

SaVe climbing and Stavern bouldering club are taking care of, and develop the fields continuously.

All fields can be used free of charge, and bouldering mats and other equipment can also be borrowed/rented from SaVe climbing.

Some of the most popular fields!
Oksås – Sandefjord: Great cliff with a short approach, around 70 routes with sports and trad, child-friendly.
Mokollen – Sandefjord: Close to the city and with a fantastic view of the city. Sport and trad, 50 routes.
Husvik – Tønsberg: A pleasant and child-friendly field with bouldering, sport and trad in true union, around 80 routes to choose from.
Hvasser – Færder: Here there are around 140 boulders and 14 trad lines of high quality.
Ula – Larvik: More than 470 boulders and over 70 trad lines.

Høyt Under Taket Tønsberg

No prior knowledge required 
Høyt Under Taket is a unique climbing center with many different climbing activities for both children, adults, beginners, and for those who are more experienced. Climbing walls, themed walls, bouldering, climbing courses, training room and lots more! The climbing center has more than 60 autobelayers. Autobelay is an automatic fuse that makes it possible to climb on your own.

Climbing groups children and adolecents 
Høyt Under Taket is offering a number of popular courses and groups for children and adolescents. Physical activity among children is important. Therefore, Høyt Under Taket is offering something for all ages. You can find activities for children and adolescents who want a different leisure activity, or for those who want to learn more about climbing. You can find courses year-round for children from 6 – 16 years old.

Høyt & Lavt – Climbing for EVERYONE

Høyt & Lavt is a family activity that is just as suitable for adults as children. You can climb the trees, zipline, or sit down with the little ones in the family. Feel the mastery of a day filled with unique and exciting experiences. A perfect place for a family activity, a trip with the school class, or a different team day with the company!

The climbing park is a 45 minutes car ride from Sandefjord, Tønsberg, Larvik, Porsgrunn or Skien.

Nett & Sprett – For the kids
The little ones in the family deserve to have as much fun as the older kids. That's why Høyt & Lavt has developed Nett & Sprett – where children can play and have fun in different nets. Nett & Sprett does not require any kind of equipment or training. After getting your ticket the only thing you need to think about is playing around and forgetting about time.

Seeking for more action? The black trails Ormen Lange and Himmelfallet are demanding climbing trails that make even the most experienced sweat in their hands.The longest zipline, Ormen Lange at 380m soaring high above the river Lågen, and dont forget Himmelfallet which is a 30m high jumping tower that gives you feeling of free fall!

Høyt & Lavt – Cafe
Høyt & Lavt Café serves good food while you are out climbing. You will find delicious hot and cold dishes as well as snacks, ice cream, and pastries. Enjoy your food on the go or sit down in the cozy café or outside if it’s good weather. There is good seating outside in the courtyard and pleasant rooms inside for those who want to enjoy the meal inside.
