The girls on the coastal path

Every year Anvik Farm arrange "The girls on the Coastal Path" (Jentene på kyststien) from Stavern to Anvik

There is probably nothing better than putting on good shoes, some drinks and a snack in your bag and walk along the beautiful coastal path with other nice girls? The hike is 10.3 kilometers with departure from Stavern to Anvik Gård (Anvik Farm).

At Anvik there is a shrimp buffet, exhibitors and great summer music from the stage!

Buses are set up from Anvik after the event.

The history of "Jentene på kyststien"
In 2006, "The Girls on the Coastal Path" was arranged for the first time. The idea was to fill the small farm shop with girls in early June before the high season. With a estimate of 150 participants, the result was that 247 happy and singing girls enjoyed. The year after, the registration stopped at 1100 – one week before the event! In 2016, more than 3000 girls found their way to the farm via the beautiful Coastal Path and in 2022 the arrangement can celebrate 15 years anniversary of the event!

Borrekaupangen 2024 – Nordic Vikingmarket

This year Borrekaupangen – Nordic Vikingmarked will celebrate. Borre Vikinglag turns 30 years in 2024!
Vikings and visitors who have enriched the events over the years will be honored. The local and international viking community and the many crafts that bring the exciting history to life will be celebrated.

You are all welcome to celebrate at Borrekaupangen on July 5.-7th!

Borre vikinglag

The team is Norway's oldest Viking team, and among its members are all types of people, from archaeologists to farmers with a common interest in Viking times, history, Viking activities and the preservation of old crafts. Most of the team members make their own equipment.

The purpose is to spread knowledge about the history of Borre and Vestfold, especially in the Iron Age/Viking Age, and to expand knowledge about daily life and crafts in this period. Through practical knowledge of how the Vikings lived and active collaboration with archaeologists and professionals, history is continued. Here you can experience more than reading about history, and join in living like a Viking! The Viking team therefore makes clothes, tools, boats and equipment as the Vikings did. Through their work, commitment and enthusiasm, the image of the Viking Age is communicated to the public through activities at events and seminars. Midgard Viking Center is one of the Viking team's partners.

You can read more on the Borre viking team's own website.

Today the spot is perfect as a concerts arena during the summer. Both international and national artist have performed in the outdoor arena. Right next door is the restaurant Foyn restaurant, which offers exciting meals and outdoor seating.

The location is perfect for both small and big companies events, business dinners, kick off, launches, fairs and birthdays. With years of experience, Foynhagen is glad to help out with activities and entertainment if needed.
