In a rural settings 4 km from Sandefjord center you will find a little gem – Alonsohuset!

In Alonsohuset's garden, you can stroll around and enjoy the day, sit down with a coffee or cold drink in one of the many charming places around the garden, and find inspiration for your own garden projects. In the garden you can also meet the house's chickens and cats.

In the old stable you will find the shop used finds, vintage, antique, new and redesign together with products from other local manufacturers. Visitors can buy hot and cold drinks, a piece of cake, ice cream and sometimes simple food.

Opening hours
Alonsohuset is basically open every Sunday with a few exceptions. Opening hours beyond Sundays vary, with extended opening hours from Easter to the end of August. For updated information; feel free to follow Alonsohuset on Instagram, Facebook or check their own website before you visit.

There is free admission to the garden, but special events have entrance fees.

Events in the garden
Throughout the year, Alonsohuset also has its own events such as concerts, afternoon tea and art in the garden. The events are announced on the website and social media.

Alonsohuset also has its own YouTube-channel where they make films and show the garden throughout the year. This is in norwegian laguange only.

Parking and accessibility
There are limited parking spaces, so feel free to arrive by bike or bus. Buses 138 and 163 stop just outside. The stop is called Alonso. Bus times on www.vkt.no.

There is limited accessibility for the disabled / wheelchair users because of gravel paths and steps and doorsteps inside. Contact Alonsohuset if you have any questions.

✨ Saturday, August 23, 2025 Festival: Hjertnes Kulturhus – from 11:00 – 18:00. JOIN and experience African rhythms, dance, music, food, fashion, crafts and colorful human encounters. A day filled with energy, community and a real festival atmosphere – completely free and open to everyone!

This is more than a festival – it is a bridge builder and a meeting place for all of Sandefjord! Regardless of background and age.

As an Aurora Sauna guest, you get free parking at the campsite.
Shower and toilet facilities are also available at the campsite.

Remember to bring swimwear, a towel, and a water bottle. If you’d like to cool down during or after your session, we recommend a refreshing dip in the Oslofjord! The sauna can be booked either as a private session or as a shared experience.
