Season Opening – Activity Park Høyt og Lavt

Even the toughest souls can feel their pulse quickening in the trails high up below the treetops at High and Low. This is the biggest and wildest climbing park you can find anywhere in the Nordic countries, an eldorado of a climbing park, with more than 270 pieces of apparatus among the trees and 19 zip lines. All grades of difficulty from absolute beginner to adrenaline junky, as well as special trails for
the little ones down to 3 years old. Essential equipment is included in the price. Café.

Nerdrum Museum

The museum, run by the non-profit Nerdrum Museum Association, makes Nerdrum's works accessible to the public and shares knowledge about his life and career. None of the original works, including paintings, sketches, drawings, and graphics, are for sale; they are preserved as part of Norway's cultural heritage.

Events – The museum holds concerts, conferences, and lectures on relevant topics. Learn about the history of painting, with a special focus on classical figurative art. Stay updated via the website and Facebook page.

Pipehouse History – Visit the museum, part of Sjøparken Stavern. The Pipehouse in the historic Agnes Fabrikker was the heart of Nittedals Tændstikfabrikk from 1877 to 1984. The building has been transformed into an exhibition space that honors the power and aesthetics of this important part of Norwegian industrial history.

Guided Tours – Book a guided tour year-round, both during and outside opening hours. A guided tour starts at NOK 2500, with an additional entrance fee. Discounts are available for groups over 10 people.

Tours last about 45-50 minutes and accommodate up to 20 participants per group. For larger groups, it is recommended to split into two, with one group enjoying a snack or coffee at café Havfuglen while the other tours the museum.

Åkerkvinnene

Åkerkvinnene has their location along the Brunlanes coast (between Stavern and Helgeroa).

Åkerkvinnene consists of Ingunns hage, Søndre Grevle, Skjærgårdshagen, Lillavendel, Kryssgaarden and Grønn Glede.

Søndre Grevle
Søndre Grevle has both vegetable fields and strawberry fields, and free-range pigs that roll around, play, dig themselves down, and enjoy life. They grow up in the forest and enjoy the summer with roots and strawberries.

On the farm you will also find a yellow farm shop, which is the heart of the farm, with a large selection of tasty vegetables and strawberries from its own field and meat from the open-air borders. Local food from small producers is also sold, as well as fruit and other vegetables from Brunlanes.

On the farm, they love all seasons, and the selection in the farm shop follows this. From new potatoes and fresh cabbage, to summer strawberries, autumn vegetables, to Christmas food from the free-range pigs.

Ingunnshage
Ingunnshage is open during the summer season, and here the joy of gardening will be shared with you. An inspiring garden walk is arranged where you can enjoy beautiful surroundings and get ideas for your own garden room. Inside the garden you will also find a small greenhouse shop with small interior treasures, flower pots and decor. In addition, local artists will exhibit their art in the "little gallery" in the courtyard.

Kryssgaarden
At Kryssgaarden you will find a farm sale where you can buy organic apples, red juicy Celina pears, raspberries, apple juice and outdoor cucumber directly from the field. Kryssgaarden is concerned with being able to offer several varieties of berries and fruits that provide variety of flavours and areas of use.

Kryssgaarden offers self-picking berries for visitors, but if you prefer to order the berries, you can do so. Kryssgaarden also offers self-picking of conventional sweet corn and outdoor cucumber.

Lillavendel
Lillavendel is a farm country store and cafe. Lillavendel has its own production of skin care, soaps, fragrance oils and candles from natural ingredients. During the summer season, the shop is full of short-distance vegetables, unique foods and events such as alpaca hiking.

On an alpaca hike, the trip is based on the animals' premises. The alpacas at Lillavendel have will and personality. The tour takes approx. 1 hour, and you will be accompanied by someone from the farm who knows the animals well. You can read more about alpaca hiking at Lillavendel. 

At Lillavendel, they love to gather people to create experiences and gatherings on the farm. It offers courses in everything from cooking to other creative productions where you have the opportunity to make your own skin products. Read more about the courses here.

Grønn glede
Grønn glede, green joy, has a summer shop and Christmas shop at Anvikstranda camping. Grønn glede is an organic producer of Eucalyptus and green ornamentals. You can order wreaths from Grønn glede, or you can attend courses at Grønn glede where you learn to make wreaths yourself.

Skjærgårdshagen
Skjærgårdshagen is a farm with production of organic vegetables, cut flowers and edible flowers. When you walk in the archipelago garden, you will feel peace and happiness. Skjærgårdshagen delivers a large selection of edible flowers and plants that can be used to decorate and flavor the dishes. Enjoy lavender, pansy, violets, cloves, marigold, watercress, roses, daylily, tulips, lilacs, cornflowers and much more.
 

The network is run by six enterprising women who all have in common that they offer unique products and sensory experiences. With each individual company, Åkerkvinnene wants to put Brunlanes on the map with a variety of products and services, events, farm shops, gardens and cultivation culture.

Experience Svenner Lighthouse

The climate at Svenner is harsh and has a peculiar, botanical diveristy. The archipelago is of great importance for migrating small birds in the spring. A diversity of birds nest here in April-June. Bird life was preserved in 1935, and there are certain prohibitions on hunting and removing eggs. 

About the lighthouse
Svenner lighthouse and its buildings were preserved in 1997 and made accessible to the public. The lighthouse is one of 37 selected cultural environments with regional and national conservation value in Vestfold.

The lighthouse is located on the island of Korpekollen in the archipelago of Svenner about two nautical miles from the coastline, and was first lit in 1874. The original tower, which was square and made of stone, was built by prisoners from Akershus fortress. The lighthouse keeper "Steinhuset" which was erected at the same time, is still there. Today's cast iron tower was built in 1900, along with new housing and outbuildings. The tower is 18.7 meters high and the top extends over 40 meters above sea level.

The history of Svenner is much older than the lighthouse. From the Middle Ages, Svenner has been an important port for local fishermen and other seafarers.. At the beginning of 1790 a fixed pilot was stationed at Svenner. Ulabrand, Anders Jacob Johansen from Ula in Vestfold, was one of the nautical pilots who had their base here. The lighthouse has not been staffed since late 2002 and was automated in 2003.

Svenner marina
Svenner is a popular port, especially among the locals. Even though the harbor at Svenner is gentle, you should not travel in and out of the port when there is a lot of wind. You can enter Svenner at both the Nordbogen, Røvika and in Fyrhavna. There are great mooring opportunities along the mountain or along the pier, and good anchorage in the sandy bottom.

Gatherings and accommodation at Svenner Lighthouse
The beautiful stone house is today open to anyone who wants a special night in the lighthouse. It is arranged for rental of the boathouse (max. 30 persons) and with the possibility of accommodation through Svenner Fyr Kystled. There are 19 beds in 6 bedrooms in Steinhuset. Overnight guests must bring their own duvet / sleeping bag as well as food and drinking water. The kitchen has cooking facilities and necessary equipment. The buildings have, through many years of voluntary efforts, been put on hold with members from the coastal teams, housekeeping and with financial support from, among others, the Coastal Administration and the Sparebankstiftelsen.

Stavern

In the summer months, it boils in Stavern and the small streets teem with life. The population is multiplying, and the place offers a wonderful southern atmosphere. Here you can walk in historic surroundings, visit the small artist galleries that are close together or enjoy lazy days on the beach.

The charming Hotel Wassillioff is uniquely situated in the heart of Stavern, with a short distance to everything. The hotel offers light and airy rooms in historic surroundings. If you visit Smak av Stavern, you can enjoy a tempting meal while almost sitting with your toes on the water's edge in Stavern Gjestehavn.

A short way from town to the archipelago
In Stavern, it is a short distance from city life to the archipelago, and wonderful nature experiences await. With a taxi boat or with the regular boat M/S Viksfjord you can take the trip out to Svenner lighthouse, which is located on the island of Korpekollen at the far end of the sea gap in an idyllic archipelago. The island is one of boaters' most popular spots, and is perfect for a day of swimming, sun-warmed rocky cliffs and crab fishing. M/S Viksfjord can also be rented for companies, activities, swimming trips, fishing trips and more.

It is not without reason that Stavern is called the artist's town by the sea. Here the art galleries are close together in atmospheric surroundings, and you will find many of them inside Fredriksvern Verft. Here it is great to walk in historic surroundings, at what was once Norway's first main station for the navy in Stavern.

Hiking along the coastal path
Further from Fredriksvern Verft you can follow the coastal path up to Minnehallen and on from here towards Rakke. The coastal path is a full 35 km and takes you to Helgeroa along rocky cliffs, sandy beaches, shallow coves and various types of forest. This is a hiking experience at its best, with a short distance between hiking shoes and high heels. You will pass Mølen along the route, a powerful natural monument from the last ice age. Mølen is part of the UNESCO European Geopark, and among the pebbles you can find over 100 different rock types.
