Kari Helland will be running the following courses:
Tuesday 1- juli, 11 am – 3 pm: Coiled baskets. This course will get you started on how to make baskets out of easily available materials, provide you with enough material to finish a basket, historical background for basket making and lots of information about materials and equipment you can use.
Wednesday 2. juli, 11 am – 3 pm: Nett making: You will learn how to make different types of nets using the same technique, you can either try out each variety and make samples, or you can concentrate on making a net of your choice.
Thursday 3. july, 11 am – 3 pm: Bast: Curious about tree bast? In this course you will learn how to gather, prepare and use tree bast for cordage and looping, making a small bag.
Minimum 5 participants, maximum 12 participants.
Course fee, included materials: 450 NOK.
Material and tools will be provided.
There will be tools for sale, and if we don't use it all, there will also be some materials for sale.
